We asked ourselves the following question:
Being vermouth a centuries-old drink, how could it be that today 95% of vermouth practically drink RED vermouth ? Ok ... there are some brave ones who give the White , but ... what about DRY ? and the RESERVATION ? Why not a ROSÉ ?
LOOKING FOR ANSWERS
Due to vermuter “freakism” we began to visit wineries and saw that the same pattern of responses coincided in all of them:
- We have been making the same family recipe for 100 years.
- We make RED because only RED is consumed.
- Why am I going to make ROSÉ if no one is going to buy it?
- People don't like DRY.
- People are not willing to spend a lot of money for a RESERVE vermouth.
- How are we going to marinate a ROSÉ with strawberries? Are you crazy? It goes against our principles ...

We do not like to follow rules, it saddens us to see time go by and that brands do not adapt to current times. We are not here to reproduce existing business models. This is freestyle, it is about questioning everything every day, this is about creating a new benchmark in the exciting world of aperitifs.

We are La Madre Vermouth and we make our vermouths with a unique selection of botanicals. After a long period of maceration with aromatic herbs in ceramic amphoras, we obtain the "MOTHER essence" of our vermouth, and we let it age a few months in barrels to enhance the aromas. Then we assemble our essence with a carefully selected wine, thus obtaining the peculiar LA MADRE Vermouth.
... And if people love DRY, buy PINK vermouth, and to top it all, we go and offer it also macerated with strawberries? ... What if RESERVE has its fans?
